How To Enroll

The Open Enrollment window for the 2018–2019 school year is now closed. However, we may still accept applications for:

  • Students entering school for the first time as a Kindergarten student, up until September 1, 2018 
  • Students in grades 1–12 who meet one of the conditions specified in section 18 of the Iowa Department of Education’s Open Enrollment application

If you meet one of the above criteria, please follow the steps below to submit your application.

1. Submit Open Enrollment Application

Parents must submit the Iowa Department of Education's (IDE) Open Enrollment Application digitally via DocuSign. A copy of this completed form will automatically be submitted to Clayton Ridge Community District and to the email address you provided on your application.

2. Mail completed Open Enrollment Application to Resident District

You must then print the completed copy of your Open Enrollment Application and mail it to your resident school district. After completing the digital application above, you may access a signed version to print out by clicking on the 'Show Document' link. You will also receive a confirmation email from DocuSign which includes a link to your completed, signed application.

Send your application(s) by standard post. To find the correct mailing address, go to the Iowa Department of Education’s website and refer to the Iowa Public School District Directory.

3. Create an Account

Set up a user account to start the enrollment process.
